The college is recognized as Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring
Centre (AMC) by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare,
Government of India under Pharmacovigilance Program of India
(PvPI) on 16 June, 2017.
Surveillance and reporting of adverse drug reactions to PvPI,
National Coordination Centre, Indian Pharmacopoiea Commission
is performed regularly. Hemovigilance programme is also active
and the adverse reactions are reported on regular basis.
The Committee meets quarterly to highlight the importance of
ADR monitoring. The statistics of the reported adverse drug
reactions are presented. This meeting is also the forum where
various drug related reactions are discussed in detail.
