DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY

At the Akash Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMS RC), located in Devanahalli, Bengaluru, our goal is to develop competent medical graduates who can serve society in a variety of situations. In this direction, we, the faculty at AIMS RC's Department of Biochemistry, are working hard to achieve the Institute's and NMC's goals. With maximum passion and commitment, we strive to achieve the same.

Biochemistry is one of the most fascinating medical fields since it focuses on the molecular aspects of health and illness. It provides a reasonable foundation for medical practise in this way.

CLINICAL SUPPORT SERVICES (AT BIOCHEMISTRY DIVISION OF CENTRAL LABORATORY)

Diabetic Profile, Renal Function Testing, Liver Function Testing, Lipid Profile, Anaemic Profile, Serum Electrolytes, Calcium, Phosphorous etc.
Special tests include Troponin T, Cholinesterase, Tumour markers (Beta HCG, PSA), Thyroid Function Tests (T3, T4, TSH, FT3, FT4), Amylase, Lipase, Body fluid analysis, COVID profile (Ferritin, D-Dimer, LDH, Procalcitonin), etc.
