All the seats, including NRI/Management quota, are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority ( kea.kar.nic.in ).

Selection is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligiblity-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all India basis by the National Board Examination.

• A candidate who fulfils the following criteria will be eligible for the postgraduate courses

• Candidates who have obtained a “Qualified” score in the PG Entrance Test conducted by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

• He/she has studied and passed in the courses leading to the award of MBBS Degree in colleges recognised by Medical Council of India and affiliated to any University established by law in India.
• He/she has completed ‘Compulsory Rotating Internship’ on or before 31st March of the admission year.
