Dr. Shivananda.K.N is heading the department of Physiology since 2018. He has published research work in reputed National and International journals. He had presented the research work entitled “ Visual reaction time, cortical processing time in left handed and right handed young adults” at All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, New Delhi. His research work entitled “ Efficacy and perceived utility of podcasts as a supplementary teaching aid among first year dental students” has 49 citations, published in Australasian Medical Journal.
He is the undergraduate co-ordinator of Akash Centre for Advanced Simulation since 2021 and has undergone Advanced Cardiac Life Support course. He is the member of Medical Education Unit and resource person for Basic Course in Medical Education.
